Abstract / Manuscript Submission Guidelines: PCSI - 2019

The Scientific Committee of PCSI-2019 invites all interested individuals those who want to submit their scientific work in front of leading experts in the field of Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Cardiac Surgery as well as Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia & Critical care in the form of Oral or Poster presentation or in the Award Session under the following categories:

Abstracts are being accepted in the following categories:

  • Anaesthesia & Intensive care
  • Non-invasive Cardiology, Echocardiography & Imaging
  • Cathetherization & Intervention
  • Surgery
  • Nursing
  • Physician Assistants
  • Perfusion
  • Research, Innovation, & Training
  • Humanitarian & Administration

The abstract should include the following:

  • Category
  • Title
  • Authors
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Address, email, phone number of the presenting author
  • Body of abstract subdivided into Background, Methods, Results and Conclusion

Award papers (Full Manuscript required)

  • Dr. K.M. Cherian Young Investigator Award
  • Dr. Savitri Srivastav Imaging Award

Free papers (Abstract only)

  1. Award paper (Manuscript preparation - Guideline given)
    2. Award paper must be submitted as a Full manuscript with Images & Tables embedded in the text at respective places. Paper not selected for award session will be automatically diverted to free paper session.
  2. Free paper (Abstract submission- Guideline given)
    3. Accepted abstract will be selected for either Oral or Poster presentation.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Online Abstract /Manuscript Submission Open: 15th April,2019
  • Final Abstract/ Manuscript Submission Deadline for Nursing Abstracts 31st August, 2019 for all other Abstracts 31st July, 2019
  • Acceptance Notification: 15th August, 2019

ABSTRACT/ MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION RULES
All abstracts/manuscripts must be submitted online via Email through the PCSI - 2019 website.
Note: If you do not have access to the internet, please contact the Organizing Secretary on pcsi2019@srisathyasaisanjeevani.com for special consideration.

Structure

  • Authors’ names must be in upper and lower case (Jason John Wong).
  • Abstract text for original article should include:
    1. Aim/Objective(s)
    2. Material and method
    3. Result(s)
    4. Conclusion
  • Word limit: 350 words
  • Do not include references in the abstract

Use only standard abbreviations. Special or unusual abbreviations are not recommended.

ABSTRACT/ MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION DEADLINE
All abstracts(except Nursing) must be submitted on or before 31st July, 2019. Nursing abstracts must be submitted on or before 31st August, 2019. All abstract submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. ABSTRACT/MANUSCRIPT ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION Abstract authors are required to register as delegates. Failure to register before 31st July, 2019 will result into automatic cancellation of abstract from inclusion in the scientific programme.
Notice of acceptance / rejection will be sent via e-mail to the corresponding author on or before 15th August, 2019.
